Gun Raffle – The gun raffle plans are moving along nicely. If you still have tickets please turn them in now sold or unsold. If they are not turned ASAP you will go on the cash only list for next year and will no longer be able to take tickets to sell. We also still need assistance on the parking crew. Please contact Bill Chapman at 937-7986 to sign up.

Spring Trap – The league starts Friday April 10 and runs through June 12 (except May 22nd as the club is closed). It is a 300 bird scratch league with sign-up is from 6:00-9:00pm. The banquet will be June 13th. Contact Tom Ess at 937-6612 with any questions.

WYNOPL – If you are interested in outdoor pistol shooting you should consider joining this league. It will start in the beginning of May. For more information please contact Dennis Muetel at 668-4686.

Wednesday Afternoon Trap - This coming spring we will begin an extra day of trap shooting at the club. It will be held on Wednesday afternoons beginning 4/22/15 from noon till 3pm and run concurrently with the spring and summer leagues. This will be strictly a fun day of shooting for those who might not be able to make a Friday night or just want an extra day of trap shooting. No scores will count towards your Friday league averages. All monies collected will go to the regular trap league. We will not have a banquet at the end of each shooting session but if you want to attend the league banquet it will cost you $10.00 the day of the banquet. Sign up will be from 11:30 until 2:30 and will be in the garage. For all retirees or shooters with a free Wednesday you now have something to do on this day. For any additional information you can contact Frank Bermel at 937-7324 or Tom Rumley at 652-1893.

Air Pistol – Will begin at the club on May 5th and new shooters are welcome. There will be a banquet in mid July following the end of the league. Contact Carl Leas at 656-0350 for information.

3D Outdoor Archery Shoot – The day went off very well considering all of the snow that the shooters had to deal with. Shooters seemed very happy with the set-up and the trails that were set up. We don’t have the final total yet, but there were about 50 lines shot. A special thanks to Joe Attardo , Chris Lux and everyone who helped them set up or tear down the targets and trails. Note: We did not see many club members participate in this even. Please consider coming out next year to show your support and join in even if you are not a member of the league.

Work Parties – There is a work party May 4th at 6:00pm to clean up after the gun raffle. In May the Thursday morning work parties will begin and run through September. They will be from 9:00am-Noon. We are going to start a project as soon as the snow has melted and the ground has dried a little to trim & clean the trails on the club property from the November storm. At the same time we are going to lay out shooting spots for 3D Archery. This work can happen at any regular work party or on your own. Contact Bruce Huber at 585-937-7176 for information on where to go and what to do if you are interested in doing this on your own.

Long Beard Contest – There is a sheet at the bar for the Long Beard Contest for the Spring Turkey Season. Beards will be judged at the June General Meeting. You will need to bring the beard and one leg with you at that time. In the case of a tie on the beard length the spur length will be used to break the tie.

Final Note: The road to the lower range will open as soon as the snow melts and it dries up slightly. However, we still ask that you use common sense when going to the pond after it has rained. There was a lot of damage done to the dike last year that we will need to repair this year so it does not get worse. A good rule of thumb is if there are puddles in the parking lot at the lower range it is to wet to drive to the pond and you should park and walk. This is your club, please respect it and take care of it.
